Overview
Stefanos Krassas is a seasoned Senior Operations and Marketing Executive (Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Marketing, FCIM) with over 25 years of cross-functional experience across the maritime, hospitality, higher education, and public sectors. Stefanos specializes in process optimization and change management within multinational environments, strategic planning, B2B/B2C business development, brand management, stakeholder relations and digital transformation. He holds a BSc in Business Administration (Marketing), an MA in European Integration, a PGDip in Management and is currently finalizing his MBA.
In the past he has been investigating the impact of European integration on labour markets and has been analysing operational efficiency and control systems in hospitality businesses.
Stefanos has held senior leadership roles in prominent maritime training centres, where he successfully restructured operations and drove significant revenue growth. He studied the integration of emerging technologies into professional vocational training and participated in designing training programs in compliance with international standards, including OCIMF SIRE 2.0 and RIGHTSHIP RISQ, and he is an Associate Fellow of The Nautical Institute. Furthermore, he has been promoting the use of MIS to strengthen institutional links between universities and their global alumni networks and he possesses advanced expertise in developing data reporting systems and Management Information Systems (MIS) to facilitate KPI-driven decision-making and has worked extensively on business and organizational digital transformation.
