Dr. Mohammed Nazeh Alimam is an Associate Professor of Computer Science with over a decade of academic and industry experience across Germany, Malaysia, Qatar, and the Middle East. He holds a PhD in Computer Networks and Information Technology from Universiti Putra Malaysia, where his research focused on anomaly detection, packet filtering, and intelligent security systems.
His expertise spans network security, software engineering, data analytics, machine learning, and information systems, supported by more than 52 publications in international journals and conferences. Throughout his career, he has taught and supervised students at undergraduate, master’s, and PhD levels, contributing to curriculum development, accreditation processes, and academic leadership roles, including Program Coordinator and Director of Postgraduate Studies.
Beyond academia, Dr. Alimam has served as a consultant and industry advisor for organisations in Malaysia, Iraq, Qatar, and the Gulf region, leading projects in digital transformation, data analysis, cloud adoption, and strategic information systems. He has also collaborated with technology partners such as TM Innovation Center and T-Systems Malaysia on cybersecurity and enterprise data initiatives.
He is recognized for his multidisciplinary approach, strong administrative leadership, and commitment to bridging academia with industry to develop future-ready technology professionals.
