El profesor Kyriakos Kouveliotis es el decano y director académico de BSBI. Además, es el rector honorario de James Lind Institute en Ginebra, Suiza, y profesor en la universidad UNINETTUNO en Roma, en donde también es director de varios programas de maestrías. Se ha desempeñado como decano en numerosas instituciones europeas y como profesor en varias universidades, academias y organizaciones. Es considerado un experto mundial en el desarrollo académico y en planes de estudio. Es autor de 12 libros y ha publicado numerosos artículos científicos.
