Overview

Dr. Anna Rostomyan is a Lecturer of English, a researcher mainly interested in the psychology and cognitive nature of emotions, business psychology, management, human resources management, multilingual communication, as well as cognitive science. She is also an established Researcher and an international Author. 

Dr. Rostomyan defended her PhD with highest distinction in the field of the linguo-cognitive analysis of emotions at Yerevan State University (Armenia) in tight collaboration with the University of Fribourg (Switzerland), having been awarded a PhD research grant of excellence from the Academic Swiss Caucasus Net (ASCN) fellowship programme back in 2012-2013.

As for her school and university years, she also studied at the Osdorfer Gymnasium in Hamburg, as well as later successfully passed a semester at the University of Hamburg and was chosen among the top participants in the Inaugural Summer Institute at the University of Osnabrück in Germany having been awarded a DAAD scholarship.

She is passionate about science and loves to stimulate the success of the students and see them succeed, who are the leaders of our bright tomorrow. 

As for the business field, she has been the HR manager at Porsche Centre Yerevan, as well as has prior work experience in the banking system.

She is fluent in English, German, Russian, French and Armenian (native) languages.

Publications

Dr. Anna Rostomyan is also an established Researcher and an international Author of 5 books (3 published in Germany) and 30 publications worldwide read by about 100 nationalities on business communication management, leadership, cognitive science, discourse, psychology, and emotional intelligence.
