Overview

Dr. Svitlana Samoylenko is an accomplished lecturer of business studies who has spent part of her career developing the next generation of young leaders. With extensive experience in international business development and management, she is a true expert in her field. Dr. Samoylenko holds a postgraduate certificate in Philosophy of Science (PhD) as well as a Master’s degree in Management, a degree in English Philology, and a CELTA certificate from Cambridge. 

Dr. Samoylenko has a passion for teaching and is dedicated to preparing students to tackle the business challenges of the future. She has developed individual teaching programs for both undergraduate and postgraduate students, drawing on her more than twenty years of industry experience. She places specific focus on preparing students to emphasize strategy, innovation, strategic planning, cost and process optimization. Through her teaching, Dr. Samoylenko strives to instill in her students the skills they need to adapt to the ever-changing business environment. 

As an experienced business leader, Dr. Samoylenko understands the importance of intercultural management. She has managed teams in import/export trading operations across Europe, Asia, UK, and USA, making her a leading expert in the field. Dr. Samoylenko has occupied senior management roles across a range of companies, cooperating with both privately held and public companies. This experience has empowered her to take full responsibility for new market penetration, strategy, and execution by ensuring quality of operations. 

Dr. Samoylenko has also made significant contributions to research in her field. She has participated in research projects and has published her findings in profile business magazines. Dr. Samoylenko has also contributed to the preparation of examination materials for all the courses she teaches. 

In addition to her academic and professional achievements, Dr. Samoylenko is an advocate for several causes she cares about deeply. These include economic empowerment, equality, social justice, and education. She is an advocate for Ukraine and has personally helped more than 150 displaced Ukrainians. Dr. Samoylenko is a qualified lecturer proficient in English, German, Ukrainian, and Russian, and is highly respected by her students and colleagues alike.
